Golden Wattle, Adelaide - Sticker
Along my travels in Adelaide, I ran into this magnificent Golden Wattle tree with heavy, tired branches. Small, bright yellow pompom-like orbs clustered together on a dangling branch, except the colours were starting to fade & the flowers were not as plump as they were a few weeks ago. The Golden Wattle is the National flower of Australia, and I felt compelled to capture one of these trees at a pivotal point in my adventures. At this point, I was tired and slightly burnt out. But like this tree, I knew a little rest to recoup for my next adventure was what I needed. I took my lessons from the Golden Wattle along with this image and kept on my way. Knowing things would get better after some rest.
