Hi,

My name is Kennedy Rose, and I am a Canadian-based creative landscape photographer and editing specialist. When I am not working, you can find me outdoors exploring nature, swimming in the lakes, dancing or behind my lens, capturing the moments in between!

I graduated from the Alberta University of the Arts with a Bachelor of Design. Afterwards, I spent a year in Australia exploring and expanding my knowledge of nature and my place within it. While in Australia, I worked as an editor for a real estate photo company in Brisbane, QLD. That's when I decided I wanted to help my fellow creatives edit their images. So they can have more time behind the lens instead of behind their desk. In 2020, I moved back to Canada, where I currently reside & focus on my growing business.

I love everything about Photography, but over the years, I realized that what I love most about Photography is taking an image from its raw state and watching the beauty reveal itself as I work my Magic in Photoshop! Photography was and still is my first love. While I focus most of my time on making other photographers' photos look pristine, I also enjoy capturing my images out in the wilderness. My style of Photography has derived from years of studying post-production and Sacred Geometry and combining my love and respect for Mother Nature.

I believe that all objects, places, and creatures possess a distinct spiritual essence and that everything unites through the Earth. Every being, every story and every moment in time has a unique code that works together. Through my Photography, I hope to strengthen the bond between body & spirit with Mother Nature.

My Cats

AKA, the Munchies! Reese & Cheezie were adopted two years ago. They were born with Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), which is a condition that affects their brain growth. In simpler terms, they walk like they are drunk 24/7, but the good news is CH doesn’t cause any pain. They still live a long and happy life. They are just a little Wobbly.
Plants

Anyone who has been to my house would confidently say I am on my way to living in a jungle & they are correct. I love Plants! Growing up, we didn’t have many plants because we moved so much. Since leaving the nest, I’ve been slowly growing my plant collection. We’ve easily reached 40+ plants. My favourite plants, at the moment, would either be my String of Perls or my Fiddle Fig.
my Partner

Evan & I have known each other since high school, but we didn’t start dating until we were both young adults. He is my favourite person in the entire world & has the kindest soul! Ev pushes me out of my comfort zone while also being my Comfort zone. He’s also the best cook! Fun Fact. We started dating while both coincidentally travelling to Australia at the same time.
The Mountains

Growing up, I moved to Calgary & lived there for almost ten years with my family. I never realized how much my heart grew attached to the mountains until I left. I go back frequently to visit family & every time I do, I feel this serenity wash over me. I long for the day I can live in the mountains again!
dancing

Dance has been in my life since the young age of 3. After competing for most of my childhood, I started teaching dance at age 17, which I discovered a Greater passion for. It was my first love and will always hold a special place in my heart. Although I currently don't teach dance anymore. I still try to sneak into the studio whenever possible.
A Quiet Night In

Although I appreciate a good night out with friends, I prefer a quiet night in, drinking tea, watching a movie, cuddling under a blanket with a fresh bag of popcorn and, of course, Chocolate!
Knitting

I learnt how to knit as a child, and the hobby has weaved in and out of my life throughout the years, but when I have some spare time in the colder seasons, I enjoy pulling out the old sticks and creating a new cozy piece for friends and family.
